Part Time Retail Sales Assistant – Home Interiors

Artisans and Artists is a premier interior design and property refurbishment company with a Devon based design studio and interiors furnishings retail showroom (Artisan Abode) based in Bovey Tracey.

Position Available

Due to our current growth, we are now looking for a Retail Assistant for our Interior Showroom for two days a week.

Reporting Directly to our Interiors Sales Consultant, tasks will include:

Welcoming customers to the showroom.
Helping and advising customers with their enquiries.
Maintaining and merchandising the showroom displays.
Processing Sales.
Assisting with the packing and despatch of online orders.
Effectively dealing with showroom deliveries.
Answering the phone.
General showroom cleaning duties to ensure presentation is outstanding.

Training will be provided for the successful candidate who will be:

Able to engage with a range of customers and clients.
A customer focused people person providing superior customer service both in person and over the phone.
Keen to learn about interior products ranging from paint to upholstery.
Articulate, numerate, methodical, organised, proactive and reliable.

Working Hours

9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.
